Reporting from Sacramento – Concerned that the growing popularity of big-screen televisions could make it harder for California to keep pace with electricity demand, state energy regulators are poised to crack down on energy-guzzling sets despite opposition from a powerful electronics trade group. Last year, Richard Donner tagged his former assistant, comic book scribe Geoff Johns , as an ideal writer to script the next Superman film. Johns, meanwhile, told MTV News he would love a crack at Superman or the Flash . As a kid I loved watching the A-Team. I sang along to the theme tune and totally empathized with the crack commando unit – I too kept getting blamed for everything that went wrong (thanks mom!) and desperately wanted to escape the “stockade” and survive in the world as a soldier of fortune.
